Step by Step
At the appointed time, we’ll meet up to set off on this excursion to Gibraltar, a little slice of Britain in Andalusia. Once we arrive, you’ll have some free time to explore the city at your leisure. You’ll find countless shops selling British and international brands at tax-free prices. Don’t miss the chance to visit shops specialising in cosmetics and perfumes!
As soon as you arrive, you’ll come across Casemates Square, a meeting place for visitors and locals alike and where British troops originally gathered. There you’ll find numerous shops, bars and British-style restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious cup of tea or some tasty fish and chips to recharge your batteries before you start your shopping.
Next, you’ll come to Main Street, the city’s main thoroughfare, home to the leading shops selling electronics, clothing, cosmetics, perfumes and more. A true shopper’s paradise!
During your visit to the British colony, you’ll also have the chance to visit the Punta Europa viewpoint, with stunning views of the African coast, or take a stroll to the Rock of Gibraltar, a nature reserve home to some 250 macaques and covering a large part of the colony. If you’re brave enough to cross the Windsor Suspension Bridge, you’ll be able to take in the vastness of the sea from a prime vantage point.
After four and a half hours in Gibraltar, your guide will be waiting to take you back to the starting point.
