Step by Step
Do I have to choose the attractions when buying the pass? Do I need to book? When do the 9 days start? We explain how the New York CityPASS® works.
Which attractions can I visit?
With the pass, you can choose 5 out of the 10 available attractions. You decide which combination best suits your trip.
Do I have to decide on the 5 attractions at the time of purchase?
No. You can choose them later, depending on how you want to organise your stay in New York. However, some attractions require or recommend booking a date and time in advance.
How do I book the attractions that require reservations?
After purchasing the pass, you’ll have access to the New York CityPASS® tools, where you can view information about each attraction and make the necessary bookings.
How do I use my pass?
You’ll receive your New York CityPASS® in digital format. You can keep it on your mobile and show it when you visit the selected attractions, following the relevant instructions for each one.
How long do I have to start using it?
You have one year from the date of purchase to start using the pass. The date you select when booking is for guidance only until you start using it.
Can I visit the attractions more than once?
No. The pass allows a single entry per attraction. You can choose five different attractions from the ten available.
When do the 9 days of validity start?
The pass is valid for 9 consecutive days. The period begins with your first visit to an attraction or on the date of your earliest booking, whichever comes first.
For example, if you book one of the attractions for a Monday, that Monday will be the first day of the pass’s validity, even if you haven’t visited any others yet.
How much can I save with the New York CityPASS®?
With the New York CityPASS®, you can save up to 51 per cent compared to the standard price of individual tickets, depending on the five attractions you choose. Actual savings may vary depending on the combination selected and the current prices of each attraction.
What if I’m travelling with children under 6?
CityPASS® offers a child rate for children aged 6 to 17. If you’re travelling with a child under 6, the conditions vary by attraction: at some, they can enter for free, whilst at others they’ll need a specific ticket or booking. It’s therefore a good idea to check the requirements for each attraction before planning your itinerary.
