What does the New York Essentials Pass include?

The pass includes 1 ticket to an observation deck of your choice (Empire State Building, Edge, Top of the Rock or One World Observatory) plus 2 tickets to any of the other attractions on the selected list. All in one easy-to-use digital pass.

How long is the pass valid for?

The pass is valid for 30 days from the first activation (the first attraction you visit). In addition, the non-activated pass can be used within 1 year from the date of purchase.

How does it work exactly?

  1. Buy the pass and receive the digital pass in your email.
  2. Synchronise the pass with the app (indicated on the booking voucher) to check opening times, maps and booking requirements.
  3. Visit your first attraction: this activates the pass and starts the 30-day validity period.
  4. Show the QR code on your pass at each attraction to gain access.

Can I choose attractions before I buy? No, you don't have to. You don't have to choose before you buy - select attractions on the go from the app or at the time of your visit.

Do I need to book for some attractions?

Some popular attractions may require reservations. Check the "reservations required" label on the digital guide and follow the instructions if necessary.

Can I visit the same attraction more than once?

No. Each attraction can only be visited once with the same pass.
