Step by Step

Immerse yourself in an oasis of nature and wildlife just minutes from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast. With your ticket to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary you'll have total freedom to explore trails through eucalyptus forests and elevated tree-top walks.

Walk alongside kangaroos and wallabies in their natural surroundings, and get up close to koalas on reinforced platforms. Surprising species await around every corner: dingoes, cotton-top tamarins, red pandas, capybaras and exotic reptiles.

Don't miss the Lost Valley, an immersive experience that transports you to the ancient continent of Gondwana. From 10:00 to 15:00, you can admire ancient plants and animals that evoke prehistoric landscapes.

The sanctuary's veterinarians will show you their work in one of the busiest wildlife hospitals in the world. Learn how they rescue, rehabilitate and release endangered animals, and discover how you too can contribute to their conservation.

Every day the sanctuary offers live shows where birds such as cockatoos, parrots and eagles perform acrobatic flights overhead. To refuel, the park has plenty of food and drink options, as well as souvenir shops to take a little piece of Currumbin home with you.
