You'll have the opportunity to take in the natural beauty and learn about the country's traditions in an unforgettable full-day experience with a professional guide who is an expert in history.

A driver will pick you up at your hotel in San José to take you on a journey to these must-see sites of the region:

Coffee plantation: learn about the original techniques of planting and production of Costa Rican coffee, where the exquisite Golden Bean variety is harvested, one of the country's richest beans that is exported all over the world.
Poas Volcano National Park: enter the crater of this volcano , which is 300 metres deep and 1.32 km in diameter. You will walk along an impressive trail until you reach the incredible Botos Lagoon.
La Paz Waterfall Garden: You will walk through waterfalls, trails, butterfly gardens and themed gardens in this beautiful place located in a cloud forest. When you arrive at the waterfall, you will enjoy a beautiful panoramic view at 37 metres high. Here you will have a fantastic buffet lunch.

The transfer back to your accommodation in the city is also included. And as an optional plan, if you are travelling with children, you can choose a children's tour, planned with special activities for their enjoyment.
