Step by Step
Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic", is brought to life through this free tour, ideal for first-time visitors or those who want to get to know the city in depth. The 1.5 hour tour starts at Orlando's Column, a landmark on Luža Square, where your guide will be waiting for you with an orange umbrella.
Along the walk you will discover the most emblematic sights of the Old Town, including the Church of St. Blaža, Stradun Street, the Onofrio Fountain, the Cathedral of the Assumption, the Franciscan Monastery, the Rector's Palace, Gundulić Square and much more. All accompanied by anecdotes, historical facts and details of contemporary local life.
The tour is designed to be dynamic and participatory, without becoming an "academic" or monotonous visit. The approach aims to provide both historical context and a human and contemporary approach to life in Dubrovnik.
An important particularity is that, due to local legislation, all participants must use a personal audio system, including headphones and receiver. This service costs 2 euros per person, to be paid directly to the guide at the beginning of the tour (preferably with exact change).
As a free tour, there is no fixed price: at the end of the tour, you can give the amount you think is fair depending on your experience.
