Step by Step
Begin your adventure at the picturesque port of Rovinj, where your guide will welcome you at the Ampelea Parking sign. From there, you'll enter the Old Town, walking through narrow cobbled streets flanked by centuries-old stone walls. Each step will bring you closer to the essence of this seaside town.
As you walk, your guide will share Rovinj's history, from its Roman and Venetian past to its vibrant present. You will learn how fishing, trade and art have shaped the local identity and discover hidden corners known only to the locals.
Next stop is the imposing Church of St. Euphemia, symbol of the city. Here you will learn about the legend of the martyr Eufemia and see her original sarcophagus. If you wish, you can climb the bell tower for an unparalleled panoramic view of the red roofs and the Adriatic Sea (extra charge of €3 per person, not included).
The tour continues to show you the central square, the baroque palaces and the historic fountains that bring the old town to life. Along the way, you will receive tips on the best viewpoints, restaurants and ice-cream parlours to make the most of your stay.
Finally, you'll return to the meeting point, with a complete overview of Rovinj and the confidence to explore the remaining backstreets on your own.
