Step by Step

This exclusive tour for cruise passengers will take you from Puerto Plata to the Damajagua waterfalls, a natural destination in the Dominican Republic. After being picked up at the port in an air-conditioned vehicle, you will head inland in search of the waterfalls.

You will be able to choose between different itineraries: visit 7, 12, 27 waterfalls or 7 pools and 5 zip lines. You will head towards them through trails where you will be able to observe the local fauna and flora.

Before you dive in, you will receive a short briefing. You will also be provided with the necessary safety equipment and expert guidance. You will be able to slide down natural slides and jump into the refreshing pools.

You'll enjoy a buffet lunch with drinks and rum before returning to the cruise terminal.

Other Things You Should Know

There will be about 20 travellers on the tour.
This tour is for cruise passengers only.
Minimum age 8 years old. Children from 8 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
To visit the 12 pools, the walk is moderate. It is more intense for the entire 27 waterfalls.
Babies should sit on an adult's lap.
At the time of booking, cruise passengers must provide the name of the ship, time of berthing, time of disembarkation and time of re-embarkation.
Not suitable for pregnant women, travellers with heart conditions or other serious medical problems, back, neck or knee problems.
It is not adapted for wheelchair users.
Weight limit 124 kg.
Book the waterfall and zip line combo only if the boat is in port for a minimum of 8 hours.
The tour can be modified to the number of open falls on the day of the activity with an automatic price adjustment and refund according to the conditions. If the tour has to be cancelled completely due to dangerous water conditions or severe weather, a full refund will be given.
