Step by Step

At around 2pm, you'll be picked up from your accommodation in Port Ghalib and transferred to the pier, where you'll set sail on the majestic Nefertari ship, decorated with Egyptian royal motifs. Its main deck offers ample open-air seating, and the underwater lounge has panoramic windows for viewing marine life without getting wet.

You'll sail to a prime spot on the Marsa Mubarak reef, where the clear water reveals a world of colour: corals, schools of tropical fish and, if you're lucky, the odd stingray or sea cow. Here you will disembark for a guided snorkelling session; the instructors will equip you and show you the best underwater nooks and crannies.

On your return to the Nefertari, the chef will serve you a lunch of local specialities, accompanied by unlimited soft drinks. While you enjoy your meal, the boat sails out into the bay to watch the sun sail towards the horizon, tinting the sky and sea in shades of gold and purple.
