Step by Step

Embark on a tour that awakens all the senses: after being picked up from your hotel, a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle will drive you to the starting point in Sheikh Malek, just 25 km from Marsa Alam Airport. There you will receive driving instructions and the necessary equipment to drive your 4×4 quad.

The 22km ride begins on sandy tracks through the rocks and mountains of the eastern desert. You will feel the freedom to move over the changing terrain as your guide explains the geology and stories of the region.

When you reach the Bedouin village, you will discover their way of life: you will enter stone houses, learn about their customs, their way of feeding and the organisation of their families. Don't miss the opportunity to taste Bedouin tea, prepared with local herbs, and to sit next to them while they smoke a water pipe.

The next stage is the camel camera: you will ride one of these emblematic animals and ride through the dunes at sunset, until you reach a privileged viewpoint where you will watch the sun set over the desert. The golden and reddish colours on the horizon will be the perfect backdrop for a unique photo session.

In the evening, we will move to a camp in the heart of the mountains, where a folkloric and belly dance show awaits you. As you enjoy the traditional music, the aroma of a barbecue wafts through the air (dinner is not included; you can hire it on the spot if you wish).

Finally, you will return to the starting point with your quad bike and drive back to your hotel, with the feeling of having experienced an authentic immersion in the desert and Bedouin culture.
