Step by Step
Make the most of the underwater world with these tickets to the Paris Aquarium. Up to 13,000 marine creatures in 4 million litres of water await you at this venue, located right in the heart of Paris. It’s the perfect outing for adults and families, where everyone can learn more thanks to the information panels dotted around the venue.
It is one of the oldest aquariums in the world. It was built in 1867, at a time when major cities were seeking to capitalise on the enthusiasm for scientific exploration that emerged during that era.
With décor reminiscent of Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, this setting is wonderful. It also offers mermaid shows, an aquatic cinema with two large screens showing documentaries, and a shark tank.
The most striking feature of this aquarium, also known as Cinéaqua, is the recreations of the oceans of Tahiti and New Caledonia. You’ll see multicoloured fish amongst rocks and corals.
You’ll also have the chance to stroke these ornamental fish in an interactive tank open to everyone, in what will be an enjoyable experience for both the animals and the visitors.
