Step by Step

The experience begins in Paris, where you’ll meet up with the group before travelling together by train to Versailles. Once there, you’ll collect your bike and helmet to start exploring an estate so vast that travelling around it on two wheels allows you to enjoy it much more comfortably.

The itinerary combines sections by bike and on foot through the estate’s gardens and paths. Along the way, you’ll discover places such as the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon and Marie Antoinette’s Village, whilst the guide provides context on the history of the court and those who lived here.

There’ll also be time to visit the Grand Canal, one of the most charming spots on the estate. Before entering Versailles, you can buy something to eat at the market and then enjoy a picnic on your own by the canal.

After the guided bike tour, it’s time to explore the interior of the palace. The guide will hand you your ticket, and you can then explore famous rooms such as the Hall of Mirrors and the royal state rooms at your own pace.

The experience ends flexibly: once inside the palace, you can take as long as you like and then return to Paris at your leisure using the return train ticket provided.
