Step by Step

You'll set off from the Place d'Armes, opposite the palace, where you'll receive a helmet, gloves and, if necessary, a K-Way windbreaker. After a short rehearsal, the electric scooter responds quickly and takes you to the Avenue de Paris, the artery connecting the royal city with the capital. From here, a side path skirts the Grand Canal and unfolds the classic postcard of the gardens of Le Nôtre, perfect for the first photo stop.

The itinerary continues along wooded paths lined with centuries-old oak trees and secret ponds: a lesser-known Versailles that tourists often overlook. The guide uses walkie-talkies to let you hear tidbits about battles, court intrigues and Marie Antoinette anecdotes without having to gather in a circle. Later, the convoy crosses the Pont des Suisses and enters the Grand Trianon, revealing the pink marble architecture and reflections in the waterbeds.

Before turning back, a compact dirt straight invites you to accelerate (within safe limits) with the golden façade of the Palace of Versailles on the horizon. On the way back to the statue of Louis XIV, local advice awaits you on where to try savoury crêpes or buy a gourmet souvenir at the Notre-Dame market.
