Step by Step
SEA LIFE Timmendorfer Strand offers a tour through different aquatic environments where you can move from species native to local waters to inhabitants of tropical oceans without leaving the building.
One of the most striking areas is the Tropical Ocean, where a large panoramic window and an 8-metre-long underwater tunnel allow you to observe sharks, colourful fish and a green turtle at close quarters.
As you continue, you’ll also encounter species such as octopuses, clownfish, bamboo sharks and nurse sharks, as well as areas dedicated to other animals associated with the aquatic environment.
Not everything happens underwater: the centre is also home to otters, which provide one of the most entertaining moments of the visit thanks to their active and curious behaviour.
At certain times, there are guided feeding sessions, during which the keepers share interesting facts about the animals and their care. It’s a good idea to check the programme when you arrive so you can plan your visit around the sessions that interest you most.

- XX.The tropical fish and the green turtle add a splash of colour to the final section.
- WW.One of the services had its timetable changed and we had to readjust the itinerary. Everything else was fine.
