Step by Step

Do you have just one day to explore the north of Ireland? This tour from Dublin has it all: nature, history, culture and flavour. Departing early from the city centre, you'll tour the stunning coastline of County Antrim, enjoying live commentary from your guide as you travel.

Your first stop will be Dunluce Castle, a ruined medieval fortress that seems to rise from the sea, with views that will take your breath away. From there, you'll continue on to one of the world's most iconic natural phenomena: the Giant's Causeway, a landscape of more than 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns that looks as if carved by titans.

Afterwards, you'll walk through the eerie natural tunnel of trees known as Dark Hedges, famous for appearing in Game of Thrones as the Royal Road. It's a place that blends beauty and legend, and there's even talk of ghostly apparitions.

Next, you'll stop at the Titanic Distillery, located in Belfast's historic Thompson Dock. There you will enjoy a guided tour and Irish whiskey tasting at the very spot where the Titanic was built. An unforgettable experience among barrels and nautical memorabilia.

Finally, you will have some free time in the centre of Belfast, ideal for taking photos, having a coffee or just enjoying the atmosphere before returning to Dublin. And to top it all off, over 18's will receive a Dublin whisky tasting pass to use on the day or at a later date!

Returning to Dublin at sunset and being dropped off at Temple Bar is the perfect closure.

The whisky was a little too strong for my taste, but the visit to the Titanic's dock is unique.

We arrived at Hugh Lane at 6:40 and Brian was already waiting. Punctuality.

My watch showed 12,000 steps; some fitness helps, but the scenery is worth every metre.
