Step by Step
Depart from the shores of Monterosso al Mare and climb aboard a traditional Ligurian gozzo designed to explore the unspoilt beauty of the Cinque Terre. This approx. 2-hour private tour offers you a unique perspective, taking you away from the crowds and into coves inaccessible by foot, where you can dive into the crystal clear turquoise waters.
As you sail in front of Monterosso, your guide will tell you the history of this ancient town divided between the "historical centre" and Fegina, as well as its famous sandy beaches. You will continue to Vernazza, considered the most beautiful of the whole, with its Belforte tower overlooking the sea and the church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia.
The tour continues to Corniglia, the only town without a harbour, perched on a 100 m cliff, where you will admire the panoramic view from the boat. Arriving in Manarola, you will learn about its famous wine tradition and the sweet Sciacchetrà wine. Finally, you will pass through Riomaggiore, with its colourful cascading houses and the first stretches of the famous "Via dell'Amore".
Besides contemplating the five villages, you will have the opportunity to stop for a swim or snorkel (equipment included). The boat's large sundeck is perfect for relaxing, sunbathing and enjoying the views.
To top off the experience, a tasting of authentic Cinque Terre Pesto and freshly made focaccia will be served on board. You'll also have water, wine and local beer to toast with as you watch the sunset over the cliffs.
