Located in the town of Tivoli, this 16th century villa offers an incomparable experience of art, architecture and landscaping. It was commissioned by Cardinal Ippolito d'Este as a symbol of power and refinement, and has inspired gardens all over Europe.

With this ticket, you can tour the frescoed rooms of the palace and learn about its history and symbolism through a digital audio guide that you can easily download to your mobile phone. This tool will allow you to delve into the details of each room and understand the Renaissance and religious iconography that covers the ceilings and walls.

Villa d'Este's most famous feature is its extensive gardens, considered a masterpiece of Italian landscaping. Discover sculpture-lined paths, more than 500 fountains, ponds and hidden grottoes.
