Step by Step
Visit the Ca' Rezzonico Museum and travel back in time to the most luxurious and aristocratic Venice. This majestic palace, located in the Dorsoduro district, was designed in 1649 by the renowned architect Baldassare Longhena for the Bon family. It was later acquired by the Rezzonico family, an influential family whose history is intertwined with that of the papacy, having counted a pope among its members: Clement XIII.
Ca' Rezzonico is considered one of the most representative museums of Venetian Baroque and Rococo, offering a unique insight into the daily life of the nobility in the ancient Republic of Venice. Among the most impressive spaces is the ballroom, where you can admire frescoes by Tiepolo and other masters.
During the visit you will also see rooms decorated with original 17th and 18th century furniture, porcelain tableware, tapestries, crystal chandeliers and portraits that tell the story of a golden age. Works by artists such as Pietro Longhi and Francesco Guardi document the daily life of the city with poignant realism.
Don't miss this unique experience to immerse yourself in Venice's glorious past as you stroll through one of its most lavish palaces.
