Tangier Day Trip from Costa del Sol

Experience a day straddling two continents with this excursion departing from Málaga and various points along the Costa del Sol. After being collected, you’ll travel by coach to Tarifa, where you’ll board the ferry crossing the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier.

On arrival, a local guide will accompany you on a panoramic tour to discover some of the city’s contrasts. You’ll pass by iconic landmarks such as the Governor’s Residence and the King of Morocco’s summer residence, whilst learning more about the history and multicultural character of Tangier.

The tour also includes a stop to see camels, where you’ll be able to get up close to these animals and take photographs. Afterwards, you’ll walk into the historic heart of the city to explore the Kasbah, the Medina and the souks, amongst spice stalls, craft workshops and bustling shopping streets.

During the walk, you’ll visit a Berber pharmacy, where you’ll discover some natural products, spices and traditional remedies used in Moroccan culture. Later, you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant serving typical Moroccan dishes.

After lunch, you’ll have some free time to continue exploring the Medina, look for souvenirs or soak up the atmosphere of Tangier at your own pace. Finally, you’ll return to the port to catch the ferry back to Tarifa and continue by road to the agreed drop-off point.
