Step by Step
Embark on an unforgettable journey through Kathmandu's most iconic temples and squares. From the mysterious Swayambhunath Temple (Monkey Temple) with its Buddha statues and panoramic views, to the Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath, you will feel total immersion in the spiritual heart of Nepal.
Your guide will take you to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu shrines, where only Nepalis and Indians of the Hindu faith are allowed access to the inner precincts, allowing you to appreciate its rites and cremations by the sacred Bagmati River.
Choose to visit Patan's Durbar Square and museum to see the ancient Newar palaces, or head into Bhaktapur Durbar Square, with its medieval architecture and colourful bas-reliefs. Each monument reveals the artistic and religious richness of the Kathmandu Valley, a World Heritage Site since 1979.
During the tour you can break for lunch (at your own expense), and your guide will recommend the best local restaurants where you can try dal bhat, momo or other Nepalese delicacies. At the end of the tour, you will return to your hotel to rest after a day full of history and culture.
