Step by Step

Once you enter the Upside Down, you’ll lose all sense of time and space, as you’ll no longer know whether you’re up or down. On this tour, you’ll have the chance to enjoy life-size, moving digital projections; you’ll experience life below sea level in the Infinity Room; and you’ll visit rooms such as the Club, which will take your idea of a nightclub to a whole new level.

In this museum, comprising 25 rooms and covering over 1,500 m², you’ll be able to take part in the content creation process, becoming part of the installations, and you’ll have the help of staff who’ll recommend the best poses for taking unforgettable photos. Although you must enter the museum at your booked time (arrive at least 5 minutes early), you can then stay for as long as you like.

You can take dozens of selfies, or simply smile at one of the museum’s cameras whilst lying face down, jumping on a ball pit or posing in front of the most surreal backdrops. That way, you’ll have enough photos to keep your Instagram feed updated for weeks.

If you have some extra time in Amsterdam it is a great idea to come here. It is one of the best known photo museums in Europe and the price is very good for the experience and material you get.

I have no doubt that the best thing is that they don't charge for downloading photos. That gives the real plus to the whole experience. I have seen many museums that offer photo backgrounds but either they charge you for downloading photos, or you have restrictions on use, or you have to ask permission to use professional cameras. Here everything is offered at one price.
