Step by Step
Start your adventure at Amsterdam Central Station, where an air-conditioned bus with free Wi-Fi welcomes you. Your escort checks your digital vouchers, hands out maps of the park and offers tips on planning your visit.
Upon arrival, the gates of Efteling open to a world where giants and dwarves live side by side with dragons and princesses. Head to the Fairytale Forest to relive the tales of the Brothers Grimm, or jump right into the action on Baron 1898, a vertical drop rollercoaster that plunges at 90 km/h down an abandoned mine. If you prefer water thrills, take a ride on De Vliegende Hollander, a mix of coaster and flume ride inspired by the legend of the Flying Dutchman.
The official app (free download) shows real-time waiting times, restaurant reservations and show times for shows such as Raveleijn - a medieval battle with horses and fire effects - or the night-time Aquanura show, where jets of water dance to an epic soundtrack.
For lunch, the park offers everything from Dutch waffles and poffertjes to vegetarian and gluten-free menus. The bus escort will be available by message to answer any questions you may have during the day.
At 18:00 h the group meets at the allocated car park; the return journey includes a projection of photos of the day (uploaded by the passengers themselves) as the sun sets over the Dutch countryside. Estimated arrival in Amsterdam around 19:30 h, just in time for dinner in the city.
