Step by Step

Marvel at Lisbon’s unique charm from a sailing boat in the evening light on this two-hour tour cruising along the River Tagus, which includes a welcome drink on board. A unique experience, thanks to the small group size, ensuring you make the most of your cruise along the Tagus and your visit to places such as Praça do Comércio and many more.

Enjoy viewing some of the Portuguese capital’s historic landmarks and iconic monuments from the perspective offered by this tour. One of these is the 25 April Bridge. Built from steel between 1962 and 1966, it is over two kilometres long and spans the Tagus River at a height of 190 metres.

You’ll also be able to admire the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology. Situated on the banks of the Tagus River, this museum—which opened in 2016—boasts stunning architecture that will leave you speechless. It hosts national and international exhibitions featuring contemporary artists, architects and thinkers.

Another monument worth seeing is the Monument to the Discoverers. Built in 1960 by the sculptor Leopoldo de Almeida and the architect José Ângelo Cottinelli Telmo, it was erected to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator. It is a 52-metre-high stone monolith in the shape of a caravel, featuring 33 figures representing the Age of Discovery, all gazing out towards the Tagus.

You will also discover the Tower of Belém. This is a military fortification built between 1516 and 1519 on the banks of the River Tagus. Since then, it has served to defend Lisbon and has functioned as a prison and as a port for Portuguese explorers and discoverers. It is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site .

You will also see the Cristo Rei Sanctuary, a religious monument dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was built after the Second World War, inspired by the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, as a token of gratitude to God for Portugal’s non-participation in that terrible war. The Christ statue is 28 metres high and the entire structure stands 113 metres above the River Tagus.

Super nice staff, great service. For my age I'm quite complicated and I have my own problems, so I congratulate the attention they gave me.
