Step by Step

Embark on a bike tour of Porto. For about 3 hours, discover the old town and the city's riverside in a comfortable way. You will be equipped with a helmet for safety.

You will be accompanied by a local expert guide, as well as a small group of about 15 participants for a more personalised service.

You will pass through the main sights of Porto, such as the Ribeira, Miragaia and Foz Velha neighbourhoods, where you will see:

  • Porto's New Customs House, which is located on the banks of the Douro and dates back to the 19th century.
  • Arrábida Bridge, one of the main bridges in the city.
  • Calem Garden, a large green area overlooking the Douro and the Dom Luís I Bridge.
  • Parque da Cidade, the largest urban park in Portugal.

You will also enjoy a stop for a coffee and a typical Portuguese dessert, such as pastel de nata (cream cakes).

I really enjoyed the walk along the riverbank. The small group makes it easier to follow the guide and listen to the explanations.

A great activity if you enjoy cycling. It’s not difficult, but you do need to feel confident cycling around town.

The guide was friendly and explained just the right amount at each stop. I liked that it didn’t feel like a rush.

A lovely way to explore Porto without having to spend the whole time walking up and down the streets. I’d do it again if the weather was good.
