Step by Step

Experience an unforgettable day trip from Bucharest to the heart of Transylvania, a region surrounded by mountains, castles and legends. This tour combines three of Romania’s must-see attractions: the elegant Peleș Castle, the legendary Dracula’s Castle and the charming historic centre of Brașov.

Travelling in an air-conditioned coach, you’ll be accompanied by a tour leader, who will coordinate the itinerary and help you enjoy the experience in the greatest comfort. The tour departs from a central location in Bucharest, making it easy to join without the need for complicated journeys.

During the excursion, you’ll have free time at Peleș Castle, one of the country’s most iconic buildings, famous for its royal-inspired architecture and natural surroundings. Depending on the day of your visit and the opening schedule, you may be able to visit the castle’s interior or admire it from the outside.

The route continues to the famous Dracula’s Castle, associated with the legend of Vlad the Impaler and the literary world of Bram Stoker. There, you can explore the surroundings, take photographs and immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere that has made this place one of Romania’s most visited landmarks.

The experience is rounded off with a stop in the historic centre of Brașov, a city brimming with charm, cobbled streets and medieval architecture. You’ll have some free time to stroll through the old town, discover its most picturesque corners and soak up the atmosphere before returning to Bucharest.

Our guide was the best of all, he kept my kids super interested in his explanations. They tell me they will now go back to school saying they were in Transylvania, just like in the movie!

This is the second time I have done this tour. The first time was in summer and now in winter, with lots of snow. In both seasons it is very worthwhile.
