Step by Step

Begin your adventure with a pick-up directly from your accommodation or cruise terminal in Port Elizabeth. An air-conditioned vehicle will take you along the coastal route, where your English-speaking guide will share fascinating facts about the region's maritime history and wildlife.

The first stop is the Cape Recife Lighthouse, built in the 19th century at one of the southernmost ends of the city. You can stroll around it and admire the panoramic views of the private beach that surrounds it.

Next, you will visit the SANCCOB Penguin Rehabilitation Centre, where you will learn how critically endangered African penguins are cared for and recovered. The guided tour will allow you to see these friendly birds up close and learn about the challenges of their conservation.
