This introductory diving experience in Gran Canaria is perfect for beginners and anyone who enjoys water sports. Accompanied by an expert instructor, you’ll learn everything you need to know to practise this sport safely. You’ll also be provided with a full set of diving equipment for the activity.
Return transport to and from your hotel is also included. Get ready to spot the marine life of the third-largest island in the Canary Islands: you’ll come across creatures such as crabs, barracudas and starfish. The activity will last around three and a half hours.
Some of Gran Canaria’s natural landscapes, both mountainous and coastal, have been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Another factor worth highlighting is the Atlantic Ocean’s climate, which is perfect for diving. On this island, you’ll find artificial reefs installed to encourage marine life.
Gran Canaria’s wildlife is extremely diverse and supports species unique to the region. Its cold currents have allowed species such as seahorses, garden eels and warty fish to evolve, all of which you’ll see on this trip.
