Step by Step
Embark on a three-hour hike through the hidden paths of Lanzarote's volcanic biosphere. In small groups of a maximum of seven people, an expert local guide will take you to explore trails that neither guidebooks nor conventional websites mention. You will discover nooks and crannies shaped by the eruptions of Timanfaya and enter a landscape that only exists in a few places in the world.
- Parque Natural de los Volcanes: Walk among lava fields and craters formed just 300 years ago and contemplate a unique orography.
- Caldera de la Rilla: Walk around this oval crater (400×300 m) while you listen to the story of the eruption that created it.
- Valle del Silencio: Be amazed by volcanic ovens, jameos and tubes that reveal the volcano's entrails.
- Volcanic chimneys and tubes: Learn to identify these formations where the magma ascended and cooled leaving surprising structures.
The route is circular, about 8 km with a minimum slope, low level, suitable for everyone. During the walk you will be provided with poles and snowshoes for greater stability, and you will make stops for snacks and photos at panoramic points.
