Step by Step
This day trip to Seville from Málaga is an ideal option for those who want to visit one of Andalusia’s most beautiful cities in a single day, with everything organised for you. After being picked up, you’ll travel by coach accompanied by a guide who will provide context throughout the journey as you pass through the countryside and villages along the way.
On arrival in Seville, you’ll begin with a panoramic bus tour, perfect for getting a first impression of the city. During this tour, you’ll see some of the city’s major landmarks, such as the pavilions of the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, María Luisa Park, the Palace of San Telmo, the Torre del Oro and the River Guadalquivir, Spain’s only navigable river. You’ll also make a special stop at the impressive Plaza de España.
Afterwards, a local guide will accompany you on a walking tour through such iconic areas as the Santa Cruz neighbourhood, the Puerta de Jerez and the historic centre, until you reach Seville Cathedral and the Giralda, both designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The tour, if you select this option when booking, includes admission and a guided tour of the Cathedral, where you can see the tomb of Christopher Columbus and, if you wish, climb the Giralda to enjoy magnificent views of the city.
After the guided tour, you’ll have at least two and a half hours of free time to have lunch, explore on your own, go shopping or continue discovering Seville’s atmosphere at your own pace. Afterwards, the group will meet up again to head back to the Costa del Sol, bringing to a close a very full day of history, culture and architecture.
