Thanks to this tuk-tuk tour in Tenerife, you’ll have the chance to visit a typical farm accompanied by a local guide. With the option of joining a group tour or a private tour, you’ll enjoy this activity, which lasts approximately one hour, to discover what a farm in the Canary Islands is like, as well as the famous Costa Adeje.
The stops on this tour, during which you’ll travel in a three-wheeled vehicle, include a livestock farm and a local fruit market, where you can buy a smoothie made with produce from the farm itself.
You’ll also visit a banana plantation to learn about the process behind the Canary Islands’ bananas – one of the most sought-after fruits in Spain – thanks to the local guide’s explanation.
This activity takes place in the Caldera del Rey, a vast surface crater dotted with banana plantations and designated as a protected area in Tenerife. There, you’ll get a good sense of what Costa Adeje is like – home to many recently developed hotels that attract large numbers of tourists.
Another thing you’ll learn during this tour is how Tenerife is a place where self-sufficiency is prioritised and sustainability is key.

- PP.This tour was one of our favourites in Tenerife. A friend recommended it to us and it exceeded my expectations in every way. I will remember it fondly.
- NN.The bananas and fruits from the market were very tasty! In our case we were staying in an airbnb so it was ideal to complement our breakfast for the following days.
- BB.Excellent guide, we enjoyed the whole tour very much.
- RR.My children absolutely loved the tuk tuk. It felt like we were on a movie excursion. There was a lot of variety at the local market.
