Step by Step

Discover the majesty of the Swiss Alps on a journey that begins with a cable car ride from Zermatt to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, surrounded by 14 glaciers and 38 peaks exceeding 4,000 metres. The cable ride offers spectacular views of the Zermatt valley and its iconic Matterhorn, making each stretch a living postcard.

Once at the top, enter the Glacier Palace, a fascinating underground labyrinth carved into the ice. Test gravity on the icy slide, traverse translucent crevasses and photograph crystal sculptures that magically reflect the alpine light.

Then head up to the panoramic viewing platform, the highest open-air platform in Europe, where you can feel the immensity of the Alps stretching out beneath your feet. From here, you can look out over peaks in France, Italy and Switzerland in a 360° range that will seem infinite.

Refresh yourself in the Cinema Lounge, where multimedia projections immerse you in tales of mountaineering, the fauna and flora of the massif and the history of the mountain railways. It's the perfect way to settle in before descending back to Zermatt.

Throughout the tour, your English-speaking Swiss guide will share facts about the geology, glaciology and local history, making the trip an enjoyable and enriching lesson about this unique region.
