Step by Step
The Shrine of Truth, located on the coast of Pattaya, is a masterpiece built entirely of wood and without a single metal nail. In the afternoon session, you will discover it in a special light that enhances the details of its walls, columns and towers decorated with Buddhist-Hindu mythology and symbolism, covering more than 2 rais of land.
Upon entering, you will lose yourself in a labyrinth of corridors and halls where each carved figure represents concepts of the Ancestral View of the Earth, Ancient Knowledge and Eastern Philosophy. You will learn how these beliefs are integrated into cosmology and the harmony between man and the universe.
Your guide will explain the historical relevance of each carved scene, from deities and mythological creatures to everyday scenes reflecting virtues such as wisdom and compassion. Through his account, you will understand why this temple is a symbol of Thai genius in carpentry and sacred art.
As the tour progresses, you will distinguish shadier interior areas where light barely penetrates, and outdoor spaces bathed in the changing evening sky. Each corner offers a new perspective: sculptures that come alive in the shadows and carvings that seem to dance in the sea breeze.
End your experience at the upper observation deck, where the setting sun merges with the silhouette of the sanctuary and the Gulf of Thailand. It will be the perfect moment to photograph and meditate on the union of art, faith and nature.
