Step by Step

Discover the Sanctuary of Truth, a unique construction covering more than 3,200 m², entirely erected with local woods, without nails or screws. Every corner is filled with sculptures representing gods, heroes and symbols of various Asian traditions, inviting you on a poetic journey between the materiality of wood and ancestral spirituality.

As you enter, you will lose yourself in its labyrinthine corridors where each door and pillar showcases the unparalleled skill of Thai craftsmen. The live guide will enrich your experience by explaining the ancient vision of the Earth, Eastern wisdom and how myths intertwine with Buddhist and Brahmanic philosophy, embodied in each sculpture.

The tour will allow you to contemplate both the interior, with its majestic ceilings and meticulous decorations, and the exterior, where the spires and towers point to the sky, reminding you of the connection between the human and the divine. Don't forget to look up to appreciate the finials and scrolls that crown each section.

Although the tour is essentially self-guided, a guide will answer all your questions and provide historical context: from the origins of the building to its goals of preserving traditional art in the face of progress.

Before you finish, marvel at the scale model and carving technique exhibition, which reveals the creative process and effort behind each piece. You will leave with a new appreciation for the engineering and artistry that converge in this wooden temple.
