Experience Highlights
Discover Istanbul in a flexible way with the Istanbul Tourist Pass, a digital tourist pass designed to adapt the visit to the pace of each traveller. The Discover Pass and Prime Pass are two options that differ mainly in terms of duration, the number of monuments included and the level of added experiences.
The Discover Pass is the most essential option. It includes 3 major sights and access to over 100 attractions and activities, and can be chosen with a validity of 1 to 5 days. It is designed for those who want to focus on the city's must-see sights without opting for the most comprehensive option.
The Prime Pass is the most comprehensive version. It includes the 7 main monuments, access to more than 120 attractions and several premium experiences, with a duration of 1 to 7 days. It is the most recommended alternative for those who want to see more, enter more monuments and add special plans during the trip.
- Choose Discover Pass if you are looking for a more essential and practical option.
- Choose Prime Pass if you want more sights and exclusive experiences.
- Enjoy Istanbul with a flexible digital pass designed for your trip.

Step by Step
If you're comparing the two, the main difference is in the scope of the pass. The Discover Pass is designed for a more practical and focused visit: it includes 3 main monuments and a very wide selection of complementary activities, visits and experiences. It is a very interesting option for those who want to see the most important sights of Istanbul without going for the most comprehensive mode.
The Prime Pass, on the other hand, clearly expands the experience. It includes the 7 main monuments of the programme and adds a more extensive offer of attractions, as well as premium experiences such as special cruises on the Bosphorus, including sunset, breakfast or dinner formats, as well as more exclusive proposals such as the deluxe hammam. It is therefore a better fit for those who want a more complete and varied stay.
The duration available also changes. The Discover Pass can be booked for 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 days, while the Prime Pass allows you to choose between 1 and 7 days. This makes the former more suitable for short breaks, while the latter is more interesting for longer stays or for those who want to spread out the visits more evenly.
As for the monuments included, the Discover Pass gives access to Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque, which are the three main monumental sights. The Prime Pass includes those three and adds the Basilica Cistern, Galata Tower, Dolmabahçe Palace and Maiden Tower. The difference, therefore, is not only in the number of activities, but also in the breadth of access to the monuments.
Another important point is activation. Both passes work in digital format and are managed via the app or the pass platform. After purchase, you will receive a Pass ID by email and from there you can log in and manage your access and bookings. Validity begins when you activate the pass and is counted in calendar days, so it's best to start using it early to get the most out of it. In addition, some attractions require advance booking, so it is advisable to plan ahead.
