More about: Burj Khalifa Ticket Price
If you're planning a trip to Dubai soon, you won't want to miss the chance to visit the Burj Khalifa observatory, the tallest building in the world at 828 metres high!
It is one of the city's most popular tourist attractions and tickets to reach the top of the Burj Khalifa are selling fast. But do you know how much they cost? In this post, I'll explain everything you need to know to plan your budget for the visit.
How much should I budget for tickets to the Burj Khalifa observatories?

The At The Top observatory at the Burj Khalifa is Dubai's architectural gem and the tallest building on the planet, offering spectacular views of the desert, the ocean and the city skyline from a height of 442 metres. There are two options for visiting:
- Entrance to the Burj Khalifa (floors 124 and 125), priced from €42, which gives you access to the outdoor and indoor viewing platforms on floors 124 and 125 of the Burj Khalifa. This is the best option if you are on a limited budget but don't want to miss out on the experience of seeing the Burj Khalifa from the inside and going up to its observatory.
- Entrance to the Burj Khalifa (floors 124, 125 and 148), priced from €49, which also allows you to go up to the At The Top Sky observatory, located several metres higher on the 148th floor. One of the advantages of this ticket to the Burj Khalifa observatory is that you can skip the queues and take the super-fast lift that will take you up to the sky of Dubai in just a few seconds. You will also enjoy a guided introduction.
At the At The Top viewing platform, you'll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of the city: Dubai Mall, Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, Business Bay, The World Islands and the Persian Gulf, among other landmarks. Get close to the Burj Khalifa telescopes so you don't miss a thing!
How much does it cost to visit At The Top Sky at the Burj Khalifa, the exclusive experience?

From £130, you can get a premium ticket to the At The Top Sky observatory at the Burj Khalifa. Located on the 148th floor, it is the highest viewpoint in the world at 555 metres high.
The super-fast lift will first take you to the indoor and outdoor platforms on floors 124 and 125 of the skyscraper, where you can spend some time taking in the views before enjoying the main attraction that awaits you a little higher up. Or you can go directly to At The Top Sky, the highest observatory in the world. The views of Dubai from there are spectacular: Burj Al Arab, Dubai Mall, Palm Jumeirah, the Persian Gulf, Business Bay and The World Islands, among other locations.
The price of this ticket is more expensive, but climbing to the top of the Burj Khalifa is one of the most amazing experiences you can't miss during your holiday. You won't regret paying for it! It also includes a small snack with Arabic coffee to savour this moment even more.

When is the cheapest time to visit the Burj Khalifa observatories?

When buying tickets to visit the Burj Khalifa viewpoints, keep in mind that prices tend to vary depending on the time of day, with peak times being more expensive.
So, if you're looking to save a little on this activity, my advice is to choose a off-peak time when prices are lower.
In addition, you will have the advantage of fewer people at the attraction during these times, so you will enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the city in more exclusive conditions than if you go during peak hours, such as sunset or to see the views from the Burj Khalifa at night. Below is a post about tickets to reach the top of the Burj Khalifa so you can find out everything you can enjoy.
How much do tickets to the Burj Khalifa observatories cost at the ticket office?

Another option for visiting the Burj Khalifa observation decks is to purchase tickets at the box office in the skyscraper itself. Prices are as follows:
- At The Top Observatory
- Floors 124 and 125
- General admission
- Adults (over 12 years old): From £35
- Children (aged 4 to 12): From £25
- At The Top Sky Observatory
- Floor 148
- General admission prices
- Adults (over 12 years old): From £120
- Children (aged 4 to 12): From £120
However, this is not the option I recommend, because you have to queue for a long time to get them and there is no guarantee that there will be space available for you to go up on the same day or that they will not sell out for the date and time you had planned.
For these reasons, my advice is to play it safe and secure your place at the Burj Khalifa by buying your tickets online in advance of your trip. When the time comes, all you'll have to worry about is enjoying yourself, not finding tickets at the box office!
Can I visit the Burj Khalifa observatory with a tourist card? How much does it cost?

Yes! Admission to the At The Top observatory at the Burj Khalifa is included, for example, in two of the city's tourist passes, the Go Dubai Card (from £24) and the Dubai Explorer Pass (from £18).
Buying a tourist card to visit a city as luxurious as Dubai is, in my opinion, a good idea because it allows you to visit the city's main tourist attractions and do lots of activities while saving money. Something that always comes in handy. And best of all, you get priority access to the city's most important sights. Time is money!
Another advantage of these tourist passes is that during your holiday you can benefit from interesting discounts at different venues in Dubai.

Do children pay admission to the Burj Khalifa observatory? Can you save a little on your tickets?

Children under 4 years old can access the observation deck for free, while those over 4 years old need their own ticket, just like adults.
If you would like to save a little on your budget for visiting this skyscraper, there are reduced rates for children at the At The Top observatory starting at £25 ( for the viewing platform on the 148th floor, the ticket price is the same as for adults).
You can use the money you save to buy the kids a souvenir from the Burj Khalifa gift shop. They will be thrilled!
Can I visit the Burj Khalifa observatories for free?

No, this is not possible. All visitors must have their own ticket to access the Burj Khalifa viewing platforms. Various prices are available. Only children under the age of 4 can enter the attraction for free if accompanied by an adult.
The same applies to the other areas inside the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. For example, you need a reservation to visit the restaurant or hotel. As it is such a luxurious place, this measure is intended to prevent the skyscraper from losing its exclusivity and becoming a mass tourist attraction.
How much does it cost to get to the Burj Khalifa observatories?

It depends on how you choose to get to the attraction, although it won't cost you too much because transport in Dubai is not very expensive. Walking through Downtown Dubai is the cheapest way to get to the Burj Khalifa. If it's not too hot and you have time to spare, I recommend taking a stroll to the skyscraper because, as well as being free and not costing a dirham, you'll also enjoy the walk, taking in the desert landscape and the fountains surrounding the complex.
However, if you need to get from one place to another in the city to reach the observatory quickly because you are limited on time, my advice is to take the Dubai Metro, where a single ticket costs from £0.80 depending on the distance to your destination. And if it's more convenient for you to take the bus, you can get on with a ticket that costs from €0.50, although, as with the metro, the cost varies depending on the distance of the journey.
