Step by Step
This guided tour from Edinburgh will take you to three of Scotland's most iconic places: the Kelpies, Loch Lomond and Stirling Castle. A tour full of contrasts that combines mythology, nature and history.
The adventure begins with a visit to The Kelpies, two 30-metre high sculptures depicting mythological creatures from Scottish folklore. They are the largest equine sculptures in the world and pay homage to the strength and spirit of the horses that helped build the country.
Continue to Loch Lomond, one of Scotland's largest and most beautiful lochs. Enjoy an optional one-hour boat trip to admire its islands, mountains and golden reflections on the water. The tour continues through the Trossachs National Park, known as the 'Highlands in miniature', home of the legendary outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor.
After a stop for lunch in a picturesque village, the route continues to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland's most important fortresses. Perched on a volcanic hill, it offers panoramic views and a history that connects with key figures such as William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Stuart.
- The Kelpies - 100 foot mythical sculptures, symbol of Scottish strength.
- Loch Lomond and the Trossachs - Natural scenery, lochs, mountains and legendary forests
- Stirling Castle - Medieval fortress steeped in history and a symbol of Scottish independence.
Before returning to Edinburgh, you will have free time to explore the castle or the surrounding area. A perfect tour for those who want to discover Scotland in a day, combining culture, history and nature.
