Step by Step

Phileas Fogg set off from London itself to travel round the world in 80 days. You can explore London with this package, which includes three perfect experiences for getting to know the city: the London Eye, a cruise on the Thames and a sightseeing bus tour. Much like Fogg himself on his travels, you’ll discover London by air, sea and land. Ready for a novel-worthy journey through London?

Here’s what you’ll receive and how the pack works. As soon as you confirm your purchase, you’ll receive your bus tickets. Depending on the option you’ve chosen, they’ll be valid for 24 or 48 hours, starting from the moment you validate your ticket at any of the stops on the included routes. Remember that the day you selected on our calendar when making your booking is the day you’ll need to activate your bus ticket. You’ll also receive a link to make the necessary bookings for the other two experiences: the Ferris wheel and the river cruise. If you’re short on time to enjoy London, you can book everything for the same day and make the most of the package. If you can stay longer and enjoy the Ferris wheel and the river cruise at a later date, you can organise it in the way that suits you best – the choice is yours.

Here’s an example of how you can use the package.

To make your stay in London more comfortable and ensure you get the most out of the package, it includes a ticket for a sightseeing bus to explore the streets of London. You’ll also have an audio guide with recorded commentary in several languages, so you won’t miss a thing as you take in the sights from your seat. There are three routes included, covering virtually all the main attractions:

  • Red Route: The best of central London: 26 stops, 40 points of interest and a journey time of approximately 2 hours 30 minutes if you take it without stopping.
  • Blue Route: 15 stops, 12 points of interest and a journey time of approximately 3 hours 30 minutes if you complete it without stopping.

  • Green Route: 10 stops, including King’s Cross, the British Museum and Covent Garden.

You can plan your itinerary to get off near the London Eye and enjoy the first experience included in the package. At 135 metres high, it is the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe and one of the largest in the world. You can step into one of its 32 cabins and rise up to see the London skyline at your feet. The brilliant panoramic view from the top will give you an overview of the city that will be very useful for your next stops.

For the second chapter of your novel, you can come down from the heights to the very banks of the Thames to embark on a cruise along its waters. Cruising down the river is the perfect way to relax whilst escaping the hustle and bustle of London and discovering landmarks such as the Palace of Westminster, London Bridge or the London Eye itself, amongst others. You can make use of several stops on the sightseeing bus to reach the cruise departure piers. Depending on the route you have in mind, these are the piers:

  • Tower Pier: a short walk from the Big Bus Tours stop at the Tower of London
  • Westminster Pier: next to the Big Bus Tours stop at Westminster Pier

If you’re travelling with children, the deal is even better, as children aged 4 to 15 pay a reduced fare and those under 4 travel free of charge and don’t need a booking.

Get ready to enjoy these three experiences, which we guarantee will make you feel like Phileas Fogg on his round-the-world journey – or, in this case, your journey to rediscover London. Ready for the adventure?

I liked the tour, excellent value for money. We would not have been able to get something so complete. We even went on a cruise! Definitely have my recommendation.
