Dallas Southfork Ranch and Dallas TV Series Tour

This tour begins in the heart of downtown Dallas, where a minivan will pick you up and take you to some of the city’s most historic sites. An expert guide will accompany you from the start, providing context and relevant information in English to help you understand the importance of each place you visit.

Your first stop will be Dealey Plaza, the site of President John F. Kennedy’s tragic assassination. You’ll then continue to Pioneer Plaza, known for its impressive bronze sculptures depicting the region’s cowboy heritage.

Later, step into the legendary world of the Ewing family with a visit to the famous Southfork Ranch, the main filming location of the acclaimed TV series “Dallas”. During the experience, you’ll enjoy distinctive views, historical anecdotes and interesting details about the filming.

The drama series, centred on the Ewing family and its oil empire, was one of the most successful shows of the 1980s and received a total of 23 Emmy Award nominations.

You’ll also explore its different rooms, where you can see items related to the series, including clips from several episodes, Lucy’s wedding dress and interviews with some of the show’s stars.

The visit also includes a train ride across the ranch grounds. Along the way, you’ll see the Ewing Oil office and make your way to the mansion. You can visit J.R.’s bedroom and admire Jock’s 1978 Lincoln Continental.

At the end of the tour, the same vehicle will take you back to the starting point in downtown Dallas.
