Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll learn all about the history of this architectural style that dominates the coastal city. It began in the 1920s and developed mainly after the outbreak of the Second World War, in the late 1930s.

Art Deco is characterised by its opulent features, as well as its colourful façades and architectural motifs featuring flora and fauna.

On this walking tour, you’ll discover the buildings erected during this era that have stood the test of time, such as The Carlyle Hotel, which has become a true symbol of this style and has featured as a location in numerous films, including *Scarface*.

You’ll discover other buildings in Miami’s Art Deco district, such as The Tudor Hotel. The guide will take you past Gianni Versace’s mansion, renowned for its architecture and the history behind the building, where the famous fashion designer was shot dead in 1997.
