Step by Step
On this guided tour lasting around 2 hours in a small group, you’ll explore some of Nashville’s most iconic neighbourhoods and visit 4 to 6 of its most famous pubs.
Nashville is the capital of the state of Tennessee and one of the birthplaces of country music. It is known as the City of Music, due to its thriving recording industry and its many museums dedicated to music. The city is also popular for the neoclassical architecture of its buildings and for being home to the production of the famous Tennessee whisky.
You’ll pass through Printer’s Alley, a historic neighbourhood once dedicated to the paper industry. In the early 20th century, its streets were home to the headquarters of two major newspapers, ten printing works and more than a dozen publishing houses.
It wasn’t long before the neighbourhood was transformed into a hub for nightlife venues. During the Prohibition era , it was a common hub for illegal bootlegging in Nashville. Today, it’s full of pubs and colourful neon signs advertising some of the city’s best bars.
You’ll also pass along 2nd Avenue, considered Nashville’s liveliest street. In the bars along this street, you can enjoy cocktails you’ve never tasted before whilst dancing to the beat of live country music. The city’s craft beers are also famous, regarded as some of the best in the country.
The city’s most famous shot is the Tennessee Moonshine, made with the region’s famous whisky. It’s an unmissable choice if you want to experience the true flavour of Nashville’s cocktail scene.
