Step by Step
Explore Grand Central Terminal on a guided tour in English and discover the best parts of this historic railway station.
You’ll enter the station building and be awestruck by the grandeur of the architecture. At the top of the information centre is the famous four-faced bronze clock, valued at over 10 million dollars.
In the main concourse of Grand Central Terminal, you can admire the mural featuring 2,500 stars painted on the ceiling. An interesting fact is that almost the entire design is upside down due to a mistake made by the artists.
You’ll pass through the Vanderbilt Waiting Room and can also admire the building’s impressive façade.
You’ll discover the Campbell Apartment, a bar located within the terminal, which serves classic New York cocktails and light bites.
At Grand Central Market, you’ll find a variety of places to eat. Inside the building, there are also several exquisite restaurants such as the Kissing Room and the Whispering Gallery.
