Step by Step

You will agree with us that one of the unmissable plans on a trip to New York is to challenge the heights from one (or more) of its skyscrapers. Why choose the Top of The Rock observation deck among all the others? Easy: because of its location in the heart of the Big Apple, in the Rockefeller Center complex of buildings. And also because it has one of the largest observatories in the city with an open view of the entire New York skyline.

With tickets to the Top of The Rock you will be able to go directly to the building and its two observation decks. The first of these is located on a glass terrace on the 69th floor. From here you can enjoy a 360º panoramic view with incredible views. If you look north, you'll see Central Park and the Harlem neighbourhood. And to the south, you'll have the Financial District topped by another legendary skyscraper, the Empire State Building.

But if you want to experience even more the sensation of reaching the zenith of Manhattan, climb up to the 70th floor. From there you'll capture the best photos of the New York skyline, do you dare?

Although for memorable photos we all have in mind the image that was taken from the top of this building during its construction. In it you can see the workers who were working on the skyscraper sitting on a beam some 260 metres above the ground while having a leisurely lunch. Would you like to have one just like it? Select the option when you book your ticket and take home a unique souvenir.

But Rockefeller Center is much more than the Top of The Rock. Once you make your reservation and choose the date and time of your visit, before going up to the observation deck, you can tour this complex of buildings. For example, you can stroll through the gardens where the world's most iconic Christmas tree and the most acclaimed skating rink in America are installed every year.

At the entrance to the office building that houses the Top of The Rock observatory, you are greeted by a large red carpet. This welcome, together with the large Swarovski chandelier in the lobby, anticipates the elegance and modernity that characterises the Art Deco style building. But be careful not to waste your camera battery taking photos as soon as you enter because this is just a snack for the fabulous views that follow... So what, shall we go up?
