Embark on a magical night tour of Hoi An, starting with pick-up from your hotel and concluding with a return to your hotel. You will enjoy a cultural tour of the old town at sunset, a coconut basket boat adventure through the mangroves of Cam Thanh and the colourful explosion of the night market and the lantern-lit Hoài River.
Your English-speaking local guide will accompany you all the way, from the meeting point at 119 Trần Quang Khải (Hoi An Food Tour) at 1:45-2:00 PM, to the drop-off between 7:30 and 8:00 PM.

Step by Step
Your adventure begins with pick-up from your hotel (extra charge for more remote accommodation), or at meeting point 119 Trần Quang Khải, opposite Hoi An Food Tour. From here, you'll visit the Folk Culture Museum, the Tan Ky Ancient House, the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge and the Fukian Community Assembly Hall, discovering how Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese traditions merged.
Around 4:30 PM, you will transfer to Cam Thanh village, where you will board a coconut basket boat. You will cruise through narrow canals surrounded by palm trees, feeling the breeze and the calmness of the river while admiring the natural scenery and listening to stories of local life.
After this rural experience, you will return to the old town for a typical dinner: fried spring rolls, banana flower salad, crispy banh xeo and fresh fruit. If you wish, you can pay an extra charge to turn on the basket boat (100 000 VND/minute directly to the boatman).
As night falls, wander into the Nguyen Hoang night market, sample street snacks and take part in the traditional game of bài chòi, an entertaining folk pastime. Afterwards, you'll cruise along the Hoài River and release your own lantern to wish good luck under the blanket of light from hundreds of lanterns.
Finally, between 7:30 and 8:00 PM, a vehicle will take you back to your accommodation, leaving behind an unforgettable evening in Hoi An.
