Your adventure begins with a bus transfer from Rovinj to Pula, the largest town in Istria. Upon arrival, you will enter the heart of the ancient Roman amphitheatre, one of the best preserved structures of its kind. You will admire the Temple of Augustus, the Golden Arches and the remains of the forum, while your guide shares anecdotes about life in the ancient Roman colony.
After this historical immersion, you will sit down to enjoy a traditional Istrian lunch, with dishes such as fuži with truffle, jota or ići na lešo, accompanied by local wine. This gastronomic moment will allow you to recharge your batteries for the next stage of the tour.
You will continue to Poreč, where its charming old town spreads out on a small peninsula. You will walk through the streets of the ancient Decumanus and Cardo Maximus, discover the remains of the temples of Mars and Neptune, and reach the World Heritage Site of the Basilica of Euphrasius, a jewel of early Christian art that will amaze you with its mosaics and sacred architecture.
