Experience Highlights

Enjoy the Musée d’Orsay like never before with a private guide exclusively for a group of no more than 6 people, and with skip-the-queue access to the museum. This way, you’ll be able to enjoy a completely personalised experience during the tour, which lasts approximately 1½ hours.

This museum, on the banks of the River Seine, houses the earliest and most famous works of Impressionist art. Furthermore, many of the best-known artists of this movement were French, so you’ll be able to see works by great names such as Monet, Renoir, Degas and even the Dutch artist Van Gogh.

  • Enjoy a guided tour of the finest Impressionist museum, the Musée d’Orsay.
  • You’ll be accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide who will devote their full attention to you and your group.
  • Tickets are not included. You can buy them on the museum’s website or ask the guide to purchase them for you at the ticket office on the day of your visit.

Step by Step

This guided tour, lasting approximately one and a half hours, will allow you to discover the most important works at the Musée d’Orsay, as well as their stories, in the best possible way. This takes the form of a semi-private experience for a small group of no more than six people. With such personalised attention, the expert guide will be able to answer any questions you may have about the works you are viewing.

Furthermore, the Musée d’Orsay is the largest art gallery dedicated to the Impressionist movement and, as a result, attracts many visitors every day. However, although the booking does not include the admission fee, you can easily ask the guide to buy tickets for you at the ticket office.

Once you’ve entered the museum, you’ll be able to learn all about these visually striking works. Impressionism emerged as a way of trying to capture light in paintings and to set aside all the tenets of realism. As a result, it was a major movement joined by world-famous artists such as its founder, Claude Monet, and others including Renoir, Manet, Degas and the great Van Gogh.

So, on this tour, you’ll be able to observe and analyse the works of these great artists first-hand. And don’t forget that you won’t just be analysing them – you’ll also learn the story behind each one, what was happening in the artist’s life when they painted it, and what they wanted to express through the painting.

Imposing building, I am always fascinated by the architecture of these places and this time it was no different. Very beautiful everything you can find, from the museum itself to the works of art, all very well preserved.

It is one of my favourite museums! I had the opportunity to visit it before, but this time I enjoyed the tour much more, although I felt a bit pressed for time.

Excellent! The guide was amazing with us, and what to say about the museum, it is a beautiful place, I had not seen a museum like this before. I think the tour is very accessible although it is a bit short, maybe it would have been better if it had been a bit longer.
