Step by Step
Embark on a private day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle, one of the most famous and visited castles in Europe. After being picked up from your hotel in Munich, you will head south towards the picturesque landscapes of Bavaria. Along the way, your private guide will provide you with interesting information about the history and culture of the region.
When you arrive at Neuschwanstein Castle, you will be amazed by its fairy-tale appearance. Built in the 19th century, this castle was the inspiration for Disney's Sleeping Beauty castle. With your private guide, you will explore the different rooms and learn about the life of King Ludwig II of Bavaria, who had this castle built as a personal retreat.
During your visit to the castle, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the Bavarian Alps. From the windows and balconies of the castle, you can look out over the majestic snow-capped peaks and green valleys that surround the area.
After the visit to the castle, you will have free time to explore the surroundings, take pictures and enjoy the views. As this is a private tour, you will be able to customise the itinerary and add other popular tourist attractions in the area.
To make sure you don't have to worry about anything, the tour includes hotel pick-up, private transport and skip-the-line access to the castle.
Reviews
- SS.An excellent private tour. Neuschwanstein is famous for a reason, and with the guide we gained a much better understanding of its history and surroundings.
- AA.The excursion was lovely, but it’s neither short nor easy. If you’re prepared for a full day, you’ll really enjoy it.
- BB.The interior of the castle took me by surprise and the views from the top were the best part. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
- KK.I found it to be a very well-organised experience. The guide alternated between historical facts and moments to look around and take photos.
