    I enjoyed walking among the millenary columns. In some parts there are barriers for restoration that limit minor views.

    Protective fencing in sensitive areas helps to preserve the monument. In one section the signage was less clear.

    The fact that they include the whole site (not just the Parthenon) is ideal. On the final ascent I felt the wear and tear of the stones.

    The ruins tell a story. Seeing the lintels and columns up close is impressive. Some sections are difficult to pass because they are so narrow.
