Embark on a day trip to Cinque Terre from Florence and discover the charming coastal towns that make up this stunning tourist destination. Cinque Terre, which means'Five Lands' in Italian, is made up of the picturesque villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
You can choose 2 options:
- Excursion with transfers only: Transfer from Florence to Cinque Terre is included.
- Excursion with transfers and train and boat tickets to move between the villages.
The tour starts with a comfortable journey from Florence to Levanto. There, you will board a train to reach Manarola, the first of the five villages. Here, you can explore the narrow streets and colourful buildings clinging to the hillside, while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.
If your trip is between April and October and the weather is fine, you can take a boat to Monterosso, the largest town in Cinque Terre. Enjoy some free time to relax on the coast, sunbathe or take a refreshing dip in the sea.
Afterwards, you will take the train back to Vernazza, considered one of the most picturesque villages of Cinque Terre. Visit its fishing port and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the village.
Finally, you will visit Riomaggiore where you can buy some souvenirs of your trip or enjoy the crystal-clear waters.
After a day full of charm, you'll return to Florence by train, enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views of the Italian coastline along the way.
