Immerse yourself in Luang Prabang's breathtaking scenery with this half-day excursion to Kuang Si Falls and a sunset cruise on the Mekong River. You will be picked up from your hotel by minivan between 13:00 and 13:15, arrive at the falls around 14:00 and have 2 hours to explore walkways, viewpoints and natural pools.

At 16:30, you will board the Shompoo Cruise at Mueang Khai pier for local snacks, welcome drinks and a leisurely ride to pier T56 back to the city by 18:30.

The activity is guided in English, and includes water, coffee, tea, fruits and Lao snacks. The pick-up point will be confirmed on your voucher - make sure you are at your hotel lobby before 12:45.

You will start with a pick-up from your accommodation in Luang Prabang in an air-conditioned minivan. During the drive, your guide will share facts about the local culture and natural environment of the region. You will arrive at Kuang Si Falls at around 14:00, a spectacular set of tiered waterfalls with turquoise waters surrounded by virgin jungle.

You'll have two hours to hike the hanging trails, spot endemic butterflies and take a dip in the natural pools. Don't forget to bring a swimming costume and non-slip shoes, as the rocks can be slippery near the water.

Afterwards, the minivan will take you to Mueang Khai Pier, where you will board the Shompoo Cruise. On board, you will enjoy welcome drinks, water, coffee, tea, fresh fruits and Laotian snacks as you gently cruise along the Mekong admiring the tropical sunset and golden panoramas over the riverbank.

The cruise arrives at pier T56 at around 18:30, from where you can walk back to the centre of Luang Prabang or request an additional transfer. This combination of waterfall adventure and boat relaxation makes the tour a perfect way to enjoy nature and Lao culture in just a few hours.
