Step by Step
The tour will start with a bus tour of some of Amsterdam's most iconic sights, where a professional guide will introduce you to the history, architecture and customs of the Dutch capital.
You will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful fishermen's houses by the sea in the village of Marken, where you can also visit an old clog-making workshop. You will learn all about the manufacturing process of these typical Dutch shoes and you can even try them on.
In Volendam, you will enjoy an aperitif in a traditional cheese factory in the Flemish country, famous for its farmhouse cheeses. You can also try the delicious waffle dough biscuits filled with caramel, known as stroopwafels .
The last destination on the tour will be the Zaanse Schans, where you can enjoy views of the iconic Dutch windmills, built in the Zaan region in the 1600s and 1700s to suit the new needs of the country's economy.
Finally, you'll return to Amsterdam, on a return journey that will take you back to the original starting point .
